Two of our own were featured this week on the Survivor Series . Watching this feature left me with a sense of pride. Asha Jamilla and Moses Kihara are truly survivors. They are using the lessons of their past to build their future. 

From a publicist point of view, this is a good piece for fundraising purposes. It highlights the problem, and presents SOS solution to the problem. I wish there was more information for potential supporters, like a number to call, or a website etc.

Our challenge now remains on how to keep these children’s momentum. Evidently they plan to succeed; so it’s up to us as the SOS community to facilitate them to that end. I have pointed out in previous blogs on how we should be mentors to our brothers and sisters, and to also take a moment and hear their dreams.
